Who is this for?

Participants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Unemployed
Not have any EI attachment
Be legally entitled to work in Canada
Be living in BC
Not a student
Lack skills/training required for successful integration into new employment
Live in an eligible community/region
Be ready and committed to returning to work
Not be participating in another LMS funded program
Must be 18 or over

What will you get?

Participants may be eligible to receive:

Class-based skill development – including job searching and career planning
Funding to access training at local educational institutions/trainers
Income support for the duration of in-class training
Wage subsidy for on-the-job training
Work/volunteer work experience
