Our Castlegar Facility

Our 4200 sq. ft. facility is located in central Castlegar, at 1414 Columbia Avenue. It is easily accessible and convenient for clients using public transportation. Our space includes the following features:

a front self serve area with a waiting area, a job board that lists current local, regional and provincial employment opportunities, and computers available to the public for self-directed Internet job search activities;
a Job Search Centre (referral required) with computers, printer and a library, for assisted resume/cover letter production, online job search, and interview preparation
two (2) large training rooms each accommodating up to 25 people with tables, chairs, audiovisual equipment and training aids for each room;
a small training/meeting room accommodating up to 15 people with ample tables, chairs, audiovisual equipment and training aids;
two (2) E-Centres for self-directed computer training, that include work stations equipped with Pentium class computers and complete with scanner, fax and printer access;
washrooms;

Clients with restricted mobility can access the facility by buzzing a staff member and they will assist the client using a Stair Trac wheelchair mobile lift. Should the client not find this method of accessibility suitable they can meet with program staff in a ground level office.
